Basic requirements for machine tools for high-precision superhard cutting grinding wheels
The equipment used for high-precision ultra-thin cutting grinding wheels is mainly cutting machines and dicing machines, mostly imported CNC equipment. The dicing machine mostly uses an integral cutting grinding wheel, which has high rotation speed and small cutting depth; the cutting machine has a wide range of applications and can cut and precision groove. The basic requirements for machine tools for high-precision superhard cutting grinding wheels are as follows.
(1) High rigidity The dynamic and static rigidity requirements of various components such as the bed, grinding wheel frame, and feed system of machine tools are high, generally more than 50% higher than that of ordinary grinders.
(2) The accuracy of the high-precision grinding wheel spindle must be higher than that of ordinary grinding machines. Generally, the spindle movement is required to be ≤0.002 mm and the radial runout is <0.003 mm.
(3) The rotating speed is generally adjustable from 3 000 to 60 000 r/min.
(4) Good vibration resistance, the axis display and the machine bed should have good vibration absorption performance
(5) Flexible feed system The system runs smoothly, has high precision and adjustable speed.
(6) High degree of automation It has functions such as automatic tool setting, automatic monitoring, and automatic compensation.
(7) Adequate cooling Multiple nozzles, large flow rate and high pressure supply are available.
